Scratch Marketing + Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Growth Director to lead our new business development initiatives and drive agency growth. Role Overview
The Growth Director will lead new business growth, acting as a strategic advisor to clients and an ambassador for our agency. You will identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies, and collaborate across departments to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales growth strategies
- Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new client accounts
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Lead successful pitch presentations and close deals
- Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales activities
- Implement effective lead generation and qualification strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and ensure client success
- Optimize growth strategies using data analytics and performance metrics
- Enhance agency reputation through thought leadership activities
Qualifications
- 8+ years in marketing, business development, or related field
- 3+ years in quota-carrying leadership positions
- Proven track record of driving significant business growth in a marketing agency or professional services firm
- Demonstrated expertise in new business development, client relationship management, and sales presentations
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate complex client needs and translate them into effective solutions
- Strategic vision combined with tactical execution capabilities
- Deep understanding of the marketing, PR, and communications industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GTM, positioning, creative direction or production oversight
- Background in B2B marketing strategy and execution
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in modern martech and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
